heres some pics from today and yesterday, this was a big deal as far as these battles go, these guys hadnt painted for 20 years and were not even friends, that has changed and theres a nice wall that came from it all…good to see two of the best going at it

Down and Durty in Hunts Point!

Hunts Point is famous for two things, TATS CRU and the Hunts Point Hookers, you can see an HBO documentary on the them and many rappers have used them as a subject in their rhymes, Grand Pubah- “Good to go like a Hunts Point hoe” like most of New York that was yesterday, but there is a bit of that left and i was standing in it today, what we do to get our names up!

was feeling a little stuck with my name so switched it up, i used to write Shank here and there in sydney a while back, the no pressure peice!

Cem 2 (tat), Sade (tcm), Bio, Shank (Dmote), Daze and Crash…think Sade and Bio were battling? dunno there was a lot of talk coming from that end of the wall…:) we did the characters from the Ralph Bakshi book, Unfiltered…

OK so i think the story goes like this…

so someone on the line out toward were Paris lived in the eighties (88/89) was biting my name (this is actually the only time ive ever seen anyone else try write it) so he did a few peices on the tracks, one which stayed there for ever, around the same time Paris did me this peice on Cooks Exports wall in Surrey Hills, VIC. so as you can see the new Dmote came back and wrote above the peice “ok Dmote! be Dmote then and ill be Paris” nice one, seems homie lost out in the end and both Paris and I got to keep our names…
